The clouds parted
While my love and I
Were lying together
And He told me
You see what I have given you?
She is your equal
But she is different
Do not be a fool
She has a soul
And a heart
That can be broken
Protect her

From now on
You can never say
That I was not listening
I have heard your cries
For a woman
Who can quench your longing
And she is there
In your arms now
She longs too
And has waited her whole life
For someone like you

I do not require thanks
All I ask
Is that you spread
The love you create
And remove darkness
From this confused world
